MIZUNO WAVE: Mechanical midsole technology that effectively solves the basic running dilemma: how to combine high levels of cushioning with the necessary stability. While most manufacturers rely solely on foam materials, Mizuno uses a wave plate that disperses the impact energy of the pedal into the entire sole area. This construction acts as an elastic spring that absorbs shock and aids dynamic forward transition on rebound.
